A Whole-Person Approach
Who We Help
How We Work
We start with understanding.
We take time to listen and understand your story, your concerns, your goals, and the factors that may be influencing your well-being.
We look for patterns.
Together we explore the many areas that can impact mental health and daily functioning, including:
• Sleep
• Stress
• Nervous system regulation
• Learning and attention
• Lifestyle habits
• Relationships
• Emotional health
• Medical and psychiatric history
We create an individualized plan.
We develop a personalized plan that may include one or more of the following:
• Parent guidance and coaching
• School collaboration
• Lifestyle and nervous system strategies
• Therapy recommendations
• Further evaluation when appropriate
• Medication management when helpful
Our goal is to help you better understand what may be contributing to difficulties and create a clear, supportive path forward towards improved stability or other supports.
Meet Makenna Francis, PMHNP-BC
I provide psychiatric care for children (0-10 years) and adults (18+) using a systems-based approach that considers the mind, emotions, nervous system, and body.
My clinical interests include attention and early learning challenges, anxiety, emotional well-being, women's mental health, pregnancy and postpartum care, and helping patients better understand the factors that influence their mental health.
I believe meaningful care begins with understanding the whole picture and developing practical, individualized paths toward growth, resilience, and long-term well-being.
